! Putting the World's Vulnerable People on the maps
Missing Maps Project was founded in 2014 by the American Rec Cross, the Britannic Red Cross, the Humanitarian OSM Team and Médecins Sans Frontières UK. It aims to map the most vulnerable places in the developing world, in order that international and local NGOs and individuals can use the maps and data to better respond to crises affecting the areas. CartONG, the Netherland Red Cross, Heidelberg University and the Clinton Health Access Initiative have since then joined the team.
