Martin performs several roles for CartONG, managing the organisation’s administration and human resources needs and functioning as its communications and volunteer coordinator. Martin enjoys working in a small team of professionally-dedicated, dynamic and friendly colleagues. He consistently finds CartONG’s work stimulating and rewarding, allowing him to meet fascinating partners and people from around the globe, learn about their projects, and help deliver concrete improvements to the way these partners work. One of the first of the team based in Chambéry, Martin’s unwavering patience and persistence are strengths that serve him equally well when tackling high alpine passes with his bike and keeping CartONG’s administration running smoothly and efficiently.

Background: With a background in humanities and specialization in the aid sector management and policies, he is the only non-GIS CartONG staff!
