About the GeOnG forum

The GeOnG forum, hosted by CartONG every two years since 2008, brings together participants from the humanitarian and development sectors to discuss current and potential stakes of information management and to share pertinent and innovative approaches.

The forum has developed into a prominent conference on topics including mapping, mobile technology, information management, and more broadly, the use of data and emerging technologies in the humanitarian and development sectors. With an average of 180 attendees from 100 organizations over the course of the last three in-person editions, it is one of the largest independent forums on the subject in Europe. The next edition will take place in Autumn 2026.
