Due to the security situation in Dadaab, the survey managers were not allowed to leave the compound and the enumerators were trained in the compound. They themselves moved mostly with escorts when conducting the surveys.

For this survey, checking the data every evening and giving direct feedback was very important to keep the teams motivated and to pick on outliers as soon as possible.
