Le cofinancement du projet de structuration du milieu associatif 2020-2023 porté par CartONG a été validé par l’Agence Française de Développement, lors de son dernier comité ONG le 15 octobre dernier. Ce projet vise à renforcer la gestion des données programmes des OSC francophones.

The co-financing of this 2020-2023 project aiming at structuring the associative sector and led by CartONG was approved by the French Development Agency at its last NGO committee meeting on October, 15th 2019. CartONG has been partnering with the Global Healthsites mapping project since 2017. We recently had the opportunity to test the Healthsites.io platform at full scale with its complete data workflow during a data collaborative project in Senegal, that was implemented with the support of Geomatica and the OSM local community.

Nous avons eu récemment l'occasion de tester la plateforme Healthsites.io grandeur nature avec son flux de données complet lors d'un projet de collaboration sur les données au Sénégal, qui a été mis en place avec l'appui de Geomatica et de la communauté OSM locale.

Dans le cadre de la conception de notre Projet Associatif lancé au début 2019, CartONG a décidé que la suite logique était désormais pour notre organisation d'adopter officiellement les Principes pour le Développement Numérique - nos actions étant basées sur des valeurs fortes pleinement alignées avec ces 9 principes. As part of the process of designing a comprehensive Associative Project in early 2019, CartONG decided it was a natural step forward for our organization to officially endorse the principles for Digital development, as our actions are based on strong principles that are fully aligned with all 9 of them. At the end of 2018, CartONG was selected by the French Development Agency to participate in the scientific impact evaluation of the Program for the Rehabilitation and Integration of Housing Districts implemented in Tunisia (PRIQH2), with the aim of adding a mapping dimension to the program's evaluation methodology. This initiative is a new approach also for CartONG.

En fin d’année 2018, CartONG a été sélectionnée par l’Agence Française de Développement (AFD) pour participer à l’évaluation scientifique d’impact du Programme de Réhabilitation et d’Intégration des Quartiers d’Habitation mis en oeuvre en Tunisie, dans le but d’ajouter une dimension cartographique à la méthodologie d’évaluation du programme. Cette initiative est une démarche nouvelle pour CartONG.

CartONG was in Haiti in June as part of the project "Our City is Safer for Women", an initiative led by CARE's office in Jeremie and funded by UN Women, for giving a training in participatory mapping methodologies.

CartONG était au mois de juin en Haïti dans le cadre du projet « Notre ville est plus sûre pour les femmes », une initiative menée par le bureau de CARE à Jérémie et financée par ONU Femmes, pour une formation aux méthodologies de la cartographie participative.
