Lancé en mai 2018, le projet Cartes d’ici & d’ailleurs a vocation à créer de nouveaux cadres d’échange et de dialogue interculturel entre les personnes migrantes et les membres de leur société d’accueil grâce à des ateliers de cartographie. Retour sur 12 mois d'implémentation et de réflexion autour des méthodologies de la cartographie sensible et participative.

Launched in May 2018, the Maps from here & abroad project aims to create new frameworks for exchange and intercultural dialogue between migrants and members of their host society through mapping workshops. Here is a look back at 12 months of implementation and reflection on the methodologies of sensitive and participatory mapping.

CartONG and its partner Les Petits Débrouillards have been implementing for nearly a year a project to raise awareness about Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) throughout the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, called "EducAuRA". As part of this project, CartONG created a map exhibition on the topic of migration entitled "When maps speak to us"; which we are inviting you to discover here.

CartONG et son partenaire, Les Petits Débrouillards, mettent en œuvre depuis près d’un an un projet de sensibilisation aux objectifs de développement durable (ODD) dans toute la région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, appelé « EducAuRA ». Dans le cadre de ce projet, CartONG a monté une exposition de cartes sur la thématique de la migration intitulée « Quand les cartes nous parlent ». CartONG a conclu en décembre 2018 un projet de construction d'une "collaboration sur les données" en RDC pour améliorer la mesure des ODD autour de la santé grâce au crowd-sourcing et en particulier OpenStreetMap. Mais comme d'habitude en RDC, les choses se sont avérées un peu plus complexes que prévu.... Voici l'histoire de ce projet !

CartONG concluded in December 2018 a project to build a “data collaborative” in DRC to improve the measure of SDGs around health thanks to crowd-sourcing and in particular OpenStreetMap. But as usual in DRC, things turned out to be a little more complex than  anticipated!

Many stakeholders hold valuable data, ranging from Small up to Big Data sets, for reporting on SDGs. The project “Building a Data Collaborative to support SDGs on Health & WASH in Malawi and DRC” (supported by the Global Partnership on Sustainable Development Data wants to harness this potential by building a Data Collaborative.

De nombreuses organisations détiennent des données, allant des données de terrain au big data, qui peuvent être précieuses pour la mesure de ODD. Le projet "Une collaboration autour des données pour soutenir les ODD sur la santé & l'eau/assainissement au Malawi et en RDC" (soutenu par le supported by the Global Partnership on Sustainable Development Data) vise à exploiter ce potentiel en construisant un écosystème collaboratif.
