
This year, GeOnG is back with a great programme ahead! The biggest independent forum on humanitarian cartography, unique in its kind, will take place the 17th-19th of October in Chambéry, France. Aiming to tackle today’s challenges in the field, this year’s conference proposes a discussion on various challenges, while looking back and analyzing how have we evolved and changed and what is there to come in the next ten years.

Rates are divided by category and access to the forum. With the ONLY CONFERENCE ticket, you will have access to the plenary session, which will feature a keynote speaker and will kick-start the debate for the Forum. Additionally, full entry to the roundtables on digital storytelling, future assessment in the Humanitarian sector, big data, and new technologies in the field, and other sessions foreseen.
Furthemore, this year CartONG celebrates its 10th anniversary, for which it will host various events to share past experiences and foresee projects and activities for the upcoming years. As part of this, we will also feature a mapathon and a session on creative cartography, as well as a public gathering. Entrance for this is free, attendees will not have to get a ticket to participate in the anniversary gathering.
For the FULL TICKET rate, you will have access to the activities explained above, plus various specialized workshops on new tools and methods provided by experts and professionals on the domain. Additionally, you will have access to the advanced trainings that will take place on Monday 17th. We have increased the price of the workshops compared to 2014 to cover this additional day of workshop, but the price for the conference only remain the same!
