GeOnG is one of the biggest independent aid data forums in Europe, with the participation on average of 90 organizations and 180 participants. In the last 10 years, it has become a major event on issues related to mapping, mobile technology, information management and, more generally, on the use of new technologies in the humanitarian and development sectors. ActivityInfo is an online information management platform used by thousands of humanitarians worldwide for monitoring and evaluation of humanitarian and development programs, planning, coordination and reporting for multi-partnered or geographically dispersed programs, case management, Rapid Response Mechanisms and more. People with no technical background can set up databases and design simple and advanced forms for data collection and produce reports based on real-time data. With advanced user management permissions, IMOs of complex programs can collect, store and analyze information from different types of partner organizations or users and have a complete overview of the progress of their programs. Data collection can also be done offline and via mobile devices and thanks to the ActivityInfo API, the platform can be linked to various external sources.
INSER is a Swiss company specialized in the development of computer systems and geodata processing. Partner and distributor of ESRI (since 1998) and FME (since 2005) products, INSER has acquired a great deal of experience in geodata processing in the humanitarian field. Among our recent or ongoing projects are MSF, ICRC, SDC and Seco (Swiss Cooperation) as well as AFD. We are committed to proposing and implementing pragmatic and realistic solutions based on our experience in these types of projects.
