Caritas International is based in Freiburg, Germany, and has started a big outreach campaign for their Haiti based projects. Like many development organisations currently working in Haiti, they have been active there for a while but need more donations to account for damages and losses in their project areas.
As the Headquarters of Caritas International are situated in her home town, CartONG staff volunteered and created a Google Earth Outreach kmz for Caritas International which they could be presenting to donors and other interested persons. Given that CartONG had been active in Haiti remotely for IMS and in country for the ShelterCluster; the needs for outreach activities have been recognised.
