CartONG is an associate of the upcoming Geneva Health Forum in April 2018. During the 3-day event, we will organize 2 mapathon and promote the use of mapping & GIS in the global health community.
The Geneva Health Forum
The Geneva Health Forum (GHF), a biennial event launched in 2006, is the forum of innovative practices in global health. The GHF was established to link policy and practice, and addresses health issues through an integrative approach. It aims to showcase innovative, accessible and sustainable practices in order to facilitate access and health equity. It is known as the largest event in Europe gathering such a distinguished audience, composed of academic leaders, practitioners, policy makers, diplomats, representatives of donor agencies and healthcare providers.
CartONG is joining the 2018 GHF
For the first time, CartONG will be joining the 2018 edition of the Geneva Health Forum as associate of the event alongside many other organizations. During the event, 2 mapathons will be organized to raise awareness about how using geographic information tools can help tackle global health challenges. The mapathons will be open to all the conference participants.
Beside the mapathons, CartONG will also hold a booth at GHF's Global Health Lab throughout the event to discuss innovative tools and best practices. We will share our space with the Global Healthsite Mapping Project, a platform we have been working with and supporting.
