CartONG is happy to announce that for both surveys; REDD+ E-Learning Module and Mobile Phone Data Collection, a summary of the analysis is ready for download.
Many thanks to all respondents who helped us tremendously with taking the online survey. Technically, CartONG used Limesurvey for both online surveys which has once more again fullfilled all the requirements.
The objective for the REDD+ E-Learning Survey was to gather information on the interest and requirements of the target users, being users in the field of REDD+ conducting participatory fieldwork in form of a forest inventory, GIS analysis, Remote Sensing or developing Carbon Models. The ulitimate goal is to develop a Moodle based E-Learning platform with different modules on the topics mentioned with special focus on Open Source Tools. It is based on the REDD+ pilot we conducted in Vietnam. http://g-redd.cartong.org/
The analysis report can be downloaded from here.
The second survey for the NOMAD project was to determine which organisations are interested in mobile data collection and which sector and thematic they work on. This was a rather detailed survey on types of data collection, devices, hosting and analysis of the survey results.
