Dès sa création en 1994, Sidaction fonde son organisation sur un principe essentiel : réunir la recherche et le milieu associatif. Les sommes collectées par Sidaction sont ainsi reversées à des programmes de recherche et à des programmes associatifs de prise en charge, soins et aide aux malades, en France et à l’international.
Le reversement est organisé autour de trois appels d’offres principaux :
Chacun de ces appels d’offres s’accompagne d’appels à projets et de missions sur des thématiques dédiées, que Sidaction a identifiées comme prioritaires dans la lutte contre le sida et bénéficiant de peu de soutiens par ailleurs.
CartONG and Groupe URD have partnered up to support Sidaction in improving its M&E system. More precisely, the objective is to strengthen the monitoring and evaluation of Sidaction's activities in order for them to manage more qualitative and global information (activities, impact, etc.) and to make it more useful for all of its departments (Programme, Advocacy, etc.).
Read more »In 2021, CartONG was selected to develop a custom public webmap on the Elsa platform in order to index all partner associations with whom the different members of the Elsa platform are working. This webmap allows to search for a specific partner association and get additional information about it, as well as access the country forms where partner associations are working.
Created in 2002, ELSA Platform is a pool of French NGOs involved in the fight against AIDS in Africa. In 2016, the members of the ELSA Platform are: the French Movement for Family Planning, Sidaction, SIS Association, Solidarité Sida and Solthis. This activity was supported by Sidaction.
