Solinum is a non-profit association under the French law of 1901 founded in 2016 to fight poverty through innovation and digital technology by developing these solutions hand in hand with the people concerned. Solinum detects key issues in the fight against poverty, experiments solutions, measures their effects and generalizes them.
Towards the end of the first lockdown period in France, Action Contre la Faim, Solinum and several volunteers of CartONG collaborated to map the services available in Bordeaux to precarious and/or isolated people so as to facilitate their access to the said information.
These maps, covering three distinct areas of Bordeaux (East Bordeaux, Lake Bordeaux and West Bordeaux) were developed by 4 CartONG4S volunteers using data collected by Solinum on the Soliguide platform.
